Power multirotor tracking flight
The newly designed SPACE V3 is fully optimized for multirotor following flight applications. The integrated design of video monitoring makes it very suitable for single-person operation scenarios. Gimbal control and following flight instructions can be completed easily by keyboard. The gimbal azimuth and target point are displayed in real time, which will make the target search process very efficient.
"Auxiliary follow" Mode
In the mode of "auxiliary follow", the yaw Angle of the multirotor is always locked to the target. At this time, the multirotor can be controlled to hover around the target point by rolling the rocker with RC. The front and rear rockers are close to or far from the target point; Lift rocker to adjust height. In this mode, the control is more flexible and can be used to follow and fly in complex environment.
"Intelligent Following" Mode
In "intelligent follow" mode, the control system will calculate the distance between the UAV and the target point in real time and keep the distance to follow (under "ranging follow", the distance is given by the laser ranging module). In this mode, the auxiliary RC control is still effective.
In the actual flight, we conducted tracking tests on human and vehicle targets respectively. Under the condition of no human intervention and control, no matter the target is small or the vehicle is moving at a high speed, the UAV is like a magnet firmly locking the target.
